I just wanted to post to say we had Jeremy Billingham out to look at our poor aerial signal in St. John’s yesterday.
I can’t recommend him highly enough. He has lots of experience and got straight to the root of the issue and has fixed it.
He isn’t overly priced and he could easily have said we needed an external antenna fitted (we would have been non the wiser), but he was honest, quick and efficient.
This isn’t an advert and I haven’t been asked to write this.
So grateful to Jeremy for solving an ongoing problem with our TV reception.

We had had a new aerial and booster installed almost 3 years ago, signal was intermittent, especially the HD channels, the options during our telephone conversation was a new satellite dish would be the best option.
Jeremy called round and repositioned the existing aerial, signal and picture has been perfect since.
First class, honest, genuine guy, he could easily of told us we needed a new full system running into several hundred pounds, it’s a pity there is not more tradesmen that treat their customers this way!

I live in a 1960’s house with original aerial wiring, which has proved extremely troublesome for the last 10 years.
I have tried to deal with the issue but mostly kept my fingers firmly crossed that it would just “hold on” and I could deal with it at a later date.
That time came yesterday when it finally all gave up and Jeremy fitted me into his schedule for today. As I anticipated, it was not a simple fix. Jeremy is, in short, the tradesman of dreams.

Having been let down getting someone to look at my aerial problem, I called Jeremy to ask if he worked the Kidderminster area.
As it turns out he was in the area and before we even finished the call Jeremy was outside my front door. Now that’s what you call service!
Job was completed in no time, despite the difficulties left behind by previous occupants, and at a bargain price too.

I strongly recommend Jeremy to anyone who has TV / aerial problems of any sort. I rang him early yesterday morning, and despite him having had a very busy day, he arrived early evening.
His professional and systematic approach was soon apparent, and the problems were soon identified. Resolving the issues were labour and technically challenging, but Jeremy did a brilliant job, taking just over two hours to complete.
The last hour was completed in the dark, but with “twin headlights” on his head, it was not a problem. Jeremy is pleasant, polite, extremely knowledgeable, a true professional, and a credit to his trade.

On recommendation it was suggested that I call Jeremy as we had suddenly lost all our TV pictures on several TVs.
Making contact with Jeremy he suggested that he could come out the following day but as the weather was forecast to be poor we arranged for a visit on Saturday morning.
Jeremy arrived within a minute or two of the arranged time, and immediately inspected the aerial from the ground, despite my initial thoughts that the aerial was the root cause of the reception problem Jeremy assured me that it probably wasn’t the reason for the loss of TV pictures.
Showing him the cupboard to the side of our converted loft where all the TV cables and equipment is housed and with a meter in hand Jeremy quickly diagnosed the problem as being a faulty booster.
I inherited all of the contents of the TV cable cupboard when I purchased the house 6 years ago but Jeremy explained that some of the equipment was not only out of date but there were bits there that were totally redundant, so he suggested a re-configuration and makeover.
Leaving Jeremy to his own devices in a little over 2 hours not only were our TV pictures restored but there were now channels on the TV’s that we’d never had before!
As regards my TV cables cupboard…..WOW!!! what a transformation, from a complicated, messy mass of cables and non working booster boxes etc to neatness, simplicity and a functional TV distribution system.

Just over a month ago we had lost 2 channels on our free sat system , channels we only watched occasionally, thinking it was just the weather we had been having lately, so I ignored it, hoping when the weather improved the channels would return.
Then just over a week ago we lost nearly all of the channels on the free sat system.
So I looked in the local news papers and on the internet and found Jeremy Billingham who was a local TV reception specialist. After a quick phone call, I had arranged for Jeremy to come and take a look at our problem with the free sat system.
On arrival and on time, as promised. I was greeted with a well spoken gentleman who was very professional, and knows his profession in side out , after inspecting the dish and doing many tests with his equipment. (All the time explaining exactly what he was doing during these tests) he found that the LNB had small cracks to the surface, which was allowing it to fill with rain water, which we have had plenty of over the last few weeks,
Jeremy quickly replaced the LNB, continued to run more tests, checked that everything was as it should be, alignment, position etc, even rechecking that all the fixing were still secure as before.
Now we have all the channels back.

Jeremy set-up my Sky system some years ago, and we’ve never had any problems with it, as opposed to our neighbours who used some cowboy outfit and have had to call them back several times
So when I suddenly lost the Freeview signal to my TV, I looked him up again and gave him a call.
Jeremy arrived when he said he would and within 10 minutes had identified the cause of the problem. Fixed it within the hour. It turned out to be a faulty 12 volt power supply feeding the booster in the loft. I had mistakenly assumed that this was the booster itself!
I can’t recommend Jeremy high enough and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
As well as being a thorough professional, he’s also a very personable man to deal with!

Upon researching my current TV problems I found Jeremy’s website and I could immediately see he knew the area’s issues and that his approach was very professional not the experience we have had with 2 different aerial fitters recently used.
Jeremy is a very personable and polite tradesman and really knows his subject.
He explained his proposed options & solutions clearly before starting work on a Free-sat dish installation which was completed extremely neatly.
The next job was to discover the mystery of missing HD channels from my terrestrial aerial despite getting extremely good signals for all other channels.
After using his metering equipment and a visit up to the masthead he discovered that completely the wrong filters had been used and were actually blocking the HD signals.
This work was undertaken in October 2016 by a Group set up under Government direction to help viewers who rely on Free-view for TV when 4G mobile services at 800 MHz are activated in their area! Problems Solved.

How reassuring it is to know that there are still tradesmen who take a pride in their work and are still committed to good customer service….and Mr. Billingham is one of them.
Frustrated by firms in Worcester who failed to turn up as arranged to assess the job and give an estimate, only to find when they eventually turned up, they shied away from the prospect of erecting a new aerial on my chimney, insisting it would have to go on the wall of the house with the old aerial remaining in situ, I went in search of another aerial technician and luckily landed on Mr. Billingham’s informative website.
On contacting Mr. Billingham and explaining my predicament he immediately looked on Google street view at our 1950’s house and assured me he would put my new aerial on the chimney.
True to his word I now have a new aerial on the chimney! He is personable, knowledgeable about his trade, happy to show and discuss the specifications of the products he is using, as well as being agreeable for customers to watch him at work if they wish to do so.
He explains faults and even showed us just how badly the original external cable had deteriorated! He also put an aerial lead in to our bedroom as well, with no disruption to decor and tidied up after drilling the hole for the cable, even vacuuming dust behind the unit which was not caused by his drilling!

My husband and I were recently having some work done to our house when our sky cable was accidentally cut.
I found Jeremy’s details by looking on-line, without any previous experience of dealing with him we decided to take a chance- we needn’t have worried! We called him and straight away and he called us back.

From 1st June 2016 the BBC made changes to the transmissions and I together with several hundred people in Droitwich lost all BBC non-HD services, which included the Midlands news programme, which I like to watch.
The BBC deny that there is a problem with the Bromsgrove mast but there clearly is a problem.
In sheer frustration I telephoned Mr Billingham, he came within a few hours, and after a great deal of trouble he restored my TV service by re-aligning the aerial & changing it from Bromsgrove to Sutton Coldfield and retuning all my TV sets.
A highly professional engineer, a pity the BBC engineers are not of the same quality. His work is precise and his charges more than reasonable. If you need an aerial engineer you will not find one better than him.

It was while sorting through some papers in my home recently that I came across this old letter.
Although this rare, hand written thank you note is now over 20 years old I’ve included it here as a nice reminder of how things were done before email and other electronic means of communication took over, it also goes to show that my work was as much appreciated back then as it is today.

Having received a quote from another local company stating we needed a new digital aerial and booster box totaling over £250, I was thrilled when Jeremy completed the job required for only £80!

I came upon Jeremy’s website after finding out that our previous aerial installer had been on BBC Rogue Traders!
I was immediately impressed by the number of recent testimonials received by Jeremy which indicated that he knew what he was doing therefore left a message and was almost immediately called back and a call out arranged for the following day.
Jeremy arrived when he said he would and immediately got to work diagnosing our problem – following the February storms we had had no TV reception whatsoever, which was not remedied when they died down.
He diagnosed a fault with our amplifier (which he noted was unusual in the make we had) and then changed to a new one. He also went onto the roof to check the existing digital aerial. This was fine.
When reception was still not restored, it was decided to realign our aerial to Bromsgrove (it having been pointing through tress to Malvern since our aerial fitting in 2009). These actions resolved matters and picture was restored, but still not to Jeremy’s satisfaction as not all channels could still be received. He therefore agreed to come back later to fit a further (brand new) amplifier which he considered would completely resolve matters. True to his word, he returned at 7.30pm that evening to fit a new amplifier and hey presto, everything fully working with HD channels too.
A very efficient, thoroughly professional service. I would have no hesitation recommending Jeremy’s services to anyone with aerial issues.

Following the recent storms, the TV reception in our house became intermittent then suddenly failed, leaving me with an irate daughter and a series link crisis. I checked online for someone in my area and came across Jeremy’s website.

I got the impression that he knew what he was talking about and I could see that he had good feedback.
After initial phone contact he arranged a visit and the impression that I had formed from his website was upheld when he walked through the door and immediately diagnosed the problem, just from experience.
I was relieved that it was such a simple solution, and on reflection it says a lot for Jeremy’s integrity that he didn’t try to find a more expensive problem to solve.
I called a couple of other firms before I found Jeremy’s number. None of them had seemed particularly bothered, nor were able to understand that “sometime tomorrow” is no use when you work from home and have only specific times in the day when you can let people in.
Luckily I found Jeremy next, who gave me a time and stuck to it, was friendly, helpful and efficient.
The fault was quickly fixed and he even checked my other cables just in case.
A reasonable price as well. I certainly won’t hesitate to call him again if we have any other problems.

I live in a 1960’s house with original aerial wiring, which has proved extremely troublesome for the last 10 years.
I have tried to deal with the issue but mostly kept my fingers firmly crossed that it would just “hold on” and I could deal with it at a later date.

On recommendation it was suggested that I call Jeremy as we had suddenly lost all our TV pictures on several TVs.
Making contact with Jeremy he suggested that he could come out the following day but as the weather was forecast to be poor we arranged for a visit on Saturday morning.
Jeremy arrived within a minute or two of the arranged time, and immediately inspected the aerial from the ground, despite my initial thoughts that the aerial was the root cause of the reception problem Jeremy assured me that it probably wasn’t the reason for the loss of TV pictures.
Showing him the cupboard to the side of our converted loft where all the TV cables and equipment is housed and with a meter in hand Jeremy quickly diagnosed the problem as being a faulty booster.
I inherited all of the contents of the TV cable cupboard when I purchased the house 6 years ago but Jeremy explained that some of the equipment was not only out of date but there were bits there that were totally redundant, so he suggested a re-configuration and makeover.
Leaving Jeremy to his own devices in a little over 2 hours not only were our TV pictures restored but there were now channels on the TV’s that we’d never had before!
As regards my TV cables cupboard…..WOW!!! what a transformation, from a complicated, messy mass of cables and non working booster boxes etc to neatness, simplicity and a functional TV distribution system.

Just over a month ago we had lost 2 channels on our free sat system , channels we only watched occasionally, thinking it was just the weather we had been having lately, so I ignored it, hoping when the weather improved the channels would return.
Then just over a week ago we lost nearly all of the channels on the free sat system.
So I looked in the local news papers and on the internet and found Jeremy Billingham who was a local TV reception specialist. After a quick phone call, I had arranged for Jeremy to come and take a look at our problem with the free sat system.
On arrival and on time, as promised. I was greeted with a well spoken gentleman who was very professional, and knows his profession in side out , after inspecting the dish and doing many tests with his equipment. (All the time explaining exactly what he was doing during these tests) he found that the LNB had small cracks to the surface, which was allowing it to fill with rain water, which we have had plenty of over the last few weeks,
Jeremy quickly replaced the LNB, continued to run more tests, checked that everything was as it should be, alignment, position etc, even rechecking that all the fixing were still secure as before.
Now we have all the channels back.

Jeremy set-up my Sky system some years ago, and we’ve never had any problems with it, as opposed to our neighbours who used some cowboy outfit and have had to call them back several times
So when I suddenly lost the Freeview signal to my TV, I looked him up again and gave him a call.
Jeremy arrived when he said he would and within 10 minutes had identified the cause of the problem. Fixed it within the hour. It turned out to be a faulty 12 volt power supply feeding the booster in the loft. I had mistakenly assumed that this was the booster itself!

Upon researching my current TV problems I found Jeremy’s website and I could immediately see he knew the area’s issues and that his approach was very professional not the experience we have had with 2 different aerial fitters recently used.

How reassuring it is to know that there are still tradesmen who take a pride in their work and are still committed to good customer service….and Mr. Billingham is one of them.
Frustrated by firms in Worcester who failed to turn up as arranged to assess the job and give an estimate, only to find when they eventually turned up, they shied away from the prospect of erecting a new aerial on my chimney, insisting it would have to go on the wall of the house with the old aerial remaining in situ, I went in search of another aerial technician and luckily landed on Mr. Billingham’s informative website.
On contacting Mr. Billingham and explaining my predicament he immediately looked on Google street view at our 1950’s house and assured me he would put my new aerial on the chimney.
True to his word I now have a new aerial on the chimney! He is personable, knowledgeable about his trade, happy to show and discuss the specifications of the products he is using, as well as being agreeable for customers to watch him at work if they wish to do so.
He explains faults and even showed us just how badly the original external cable had deteriorated! He also put an aerial lead in to our bedroom as well, with no disruption to decor and tidied up after drilling the hole for the cable, even vacuuming dust behind the unit which was not caused by his drilling!

My husband and I were recently having some work done to our house when our sky cable was accidentally cut.
I found Jeremy’s details by looking on-line, without any previous experience of dealing with him we decided to take a chance- we needn’t have worried! We called him and straight away and he called us back.

From 1st June 2016 the BBC made changes to the transmissions and I together with several hundred people in Droitwich lost all BBC non-HD services, which included the Midlands news programme, which I like to watch.
The BBC deny that there is a problem with the Bromsgrove mast but there clearly is a problem.
In sheer frustration I telephoned Mr Billingham, he came within a few hours, and after a great deal of trouble he restored my TV service by re-aligning the aerial & changing it from Bromsgrove to Sutton Coldfield and retuning all my TV sets.
A highly professional engineer, a pity the BBC engineers are not of the same quality. His work is precise and his charges more than reasonable. If you need an aerial engineer you will not find one better than him.

It was while sorting through some papers in my home recently that I came across this old letter.
Although this rare, hand written thank you note is now over 20 years old I’ve included it here as a nice reminder of how things were done before email and other electronic means of communication took over, it also goes to show that my work was as much appreciated back then as it is today.

I came upon Jeremy’s website after finding out that our previous aerial installer had been on BBC Rogue Traders!
I was immediately impressed by the number of recent testimonials received by Jeremy which indicated that he knew what he was doing therefore left a message and was almost immediately called back and a call out arranged for the following day.
Jeremy arrived when he said he would and immediately got to work diagnosing our problem – following the February storms we had had no TV reception whatsoever, which was not remedied when they died down.
He diagnosed a fault with our amplifier (which he noted was unusual in the make we had) and then changed to a new one. He also went onto the roof to check the existing digital aerial. This was fine.
When reception was still not restored, it was decided to realign our aerial to Bromsgrove (it having been pointing through tress to Malvern since our aerial fitting in 2009). These actions resolved matters and picture was restored, but still not to Jeremy’s satisfaction as not all channels could still be received. He therefore agreed to come back later to fit a further (brand new) amplifier which he considered would completely resolve matters. True to his word, he returned at 7.30pm that evening to fit a new amplifier and hey presto, everything fully working with HD channels too.

I live in a 1960’s house with original aerial wiring, which has proved extremely troublesome for the last 10 years.

On recommendation it was suggested that I call Jeremy as we had suddenly lost all our TV pictures on several TVs.
Making contact with Jeremy he suggested that he could come out the following day but as the weather was forecast to be poor we arranged for a visit on Saturday morning.
Jeremy arrived within a minute or two of the arranged time, and immediately inspected the aerial from the ground, despite my initial thoughts that the aerial was the root cause of the reception problem Jeremy assured me that it probably wasn’t the reason for the loss of TV pictures.
Showing him the cupboard to the side of our converted loft where all the TV cables and equipment is housed and with a meter in hand Jeremy quickly diagnosed the problem as being a faulty booster.
I inherited all of the contents of the TV cable cupboard when I purchased the house 6 years ago but Jeremy explained that some of the equipment was not only out of date but there were bits there that were totally redundant, so he suggested a re-configuration and makeover.
Leaving Jeremy to his own devices in a little over 2 hours not only were our TV pictures restored but there were now channels on the TV’s that we’d never had before!
As regards my TV cables cupboard…..WOW!!! what a transformation, from a complicated, messy mass of cables and non working booster boxes etc to neatness, simplicity and a functional TV distribution system.

Just over a month ago we had lost 2 channels on our free sat system , channels we only watched occasionally, thinking it was just the weather we had been having lately, so I ignored it, hoping when the weather improved the channels would return.
Then just over a week ago we lost nearly all of the channels on the free sat system.
So I looked in the local news papers and on the internet and found Jeremy Billingham who was a local TV reception specialist. After a quick phone call, I had arranged for Jeremy to come and take a look at our problem with the free sat system.
On arrival and on time, as promised. I was greeted with a well spoken gentleman who was very professional, and knows his profession in side out , after inspecting the dish and doing many tests with his equipment. (All the time explaining exactly what he was doing during these tests) he found that the LNB had small cracks to the surface, which was allowing it to fill with rain water, which we have had plenty of over the last few weeks,
Jeremy quickly replaced the LNB, continued to run more tests, checked that everything was as it should be, alignment, position etc, even rechecking that all the fixing were still secure as before.
Now we have all the channels back.

Jeremy set-up my Sky system some years ago, and we’ve never had any problems with it, as opposed to our neighbours who used some cowboy outfit and have had to call them back several times
So when I suddenly lost the Freeview signal to my TV, I looked him up again and gave him a call.
Jeremy arrived when he said he would and within 10 minutes had identified the cause of the problem. Fixed it within the hour. It turned out to be a faulty 12 volt power supply feeding the booster in the loft. I had mistakenly assumed that this was the booster itself!
I can’t recommend Jeremy high enough and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Upon researching my current TV problems I found Jeremy’s website and I could immediately see he knew the area’s issues and that his approach was very professional not the experience we have had with 2 different aerial fitters recently used.
Jeremy is a very personable and polite tradesman and really knows his subject.
He explained his proposed options & solutions clearly before starting work on a Free-sat dish installation which was completed extremely neatly.
The next job was to discover the mystery of missing HD channels from my terrestrial aerial despite getting extremely good signals for all other channels.
After using his metering equipment and a visit up to the masthead he discovered that completely the wrong filters had been used and were actually blocking the HD signals.
This work was undertaken in October 2016 by a Group set up under Government direction to help viewers who rely on Free-view for TV when 4G mobile services at 800 MHz are activated in their area! Problems Solved.

How reassuring it is to know that there are still tradesmen who take a pride in their work and are still committed to good customer service….and Mr. Billingham is one of them.
Frustrated by firms in Worcester who failed to turn up as arranged to assess the job and give an estimate, only to find when they eventually turned up, they shied away from the prospect of erecting a new aerial on my chimney, insisting it would have to go on the wall of the house with the old aerial remaining in situ, I went in search of another aerial technician and luckily landed on Mr. Billingham’s informative website.
On contacting Mr. Billingham and explaining my predicament he immediately looked on Google street view at our 1950’s house and assured me he would put my new aerial on the chimney.
True to his word I now have a new aerial on the chimney! He is personable, knowledgeable about his trade, happy to show and discuss the specifications of the products he is using, as well as being agreeable for customers to watch him at work if they wish to do so.
He explains faults and even showed us just how badly the original external cable had deteriorated! He also put an aerial lead in to our bedroom as well, with no disruption to decor and tidied up after drilling the hole for the cable, even vacuuming dust behind the unit which was not caused by his drilling!

My husband and I were recently having some work done to our house when our sky cable was accidentally cut.
I found Jeremy’s details by looking on-line, without any previous experience of dealing with him we decided to take a chance- we needn’t have worried! We called him and straight away and he called us back.

From 1st June 2016 the BBC made changes to the transmissions and I together with several hundred people in Droitwich lost all BBC non-HD services, which included the Midlands news programme, which I like to watch.
The BBC deny that there is a problem with the Bromsgrove mast but there clearly is a problem.
In sheer frustration I telephoned Mr Billingham, he came within a few hours, and after a great deal of trouble he restored my TV service by re-aligning the aerial & changing it from Bromsgrove to Sutton Coldfield and retuning all my TV sets.
A highly professional engineer, a pity the BBC engineers are not of the same quality. His work is precise and his charges more than reasonable. If you need an aerial engineer you will not find one better than him.

It was while sorting through some papers in my home recently that I came across this old letter.
Although this rare, hand written thank you note is now over 20 years old I’ve included it here as a nice reminder of how things were done before email and other electronic means of communication took over, it also goes to show that my work was as much appreciated back then as it is today.

I first called Jeremy almost 17 years ago when I had recently moved to Droitwich to add a satellite system and to fit additional TV sockets around the house.
Over the years, since then, I have called on his services a few times to upgrade systems and add more TV sockets.
Just recently, I noticed my old analogue TV aerial had become loose and I called Jeremy late on a Saturday and although it was short notice and he was busy, he still managed to visit on the same day and replaced with a new digital TV aerial.

I came upon Jeremy’s website after finding out that our previous aerial installer had been on BBC Rogue Traders!
I was immediately impressed by the number of recent testimonials received by Jeremy which indicated that he knew what he was doing therefore left a message and was almost immediately called back and a call out arranged for the following day.
Jeremy arrived when he said he would and immediately got to work diagnosing our problem – following the February storms we had had no TV reception whatsoever, which was not remedied when they died down.
He diagnosed a fault with our amplifier (which he noted was unusual in the make we had) and then changed to a new one. He also went onto the roof to check the existing digital aerial. This was fine.
When reception was still not restored, it was decided to realign our aerial to Bromsgrove (it having been pointing through tress to Malvern since our aerial fitting in 2009). These actions resolved matters and picture was restored, but still not to Jeremy’s satisfaction as not all channels could still be received. He therefore agreed to come back later to fit a further (brand new) amplifier which he considered would completely resolve matters. True to his word, he returned at 7.30pm that evening to fit a new amplifier and hey presto, everything fully working with HD channels too.

Having previously had bad experiences of being overcharged by inexperienced people I carefully checked sites and cross referenced them. It’s clear when you do this that many are advertising themselves as something they are not.
